About the project
Since 2010 the chairwoman of the Association of Bridge Builders, Özlem Cekic, has visited people who has sent her hate mail, as well as people who seeks dialogue and wants to be bridge builders. This practice has grown into what is today called #DialogueCoffee.

About the NGO
The purpose of the Association of Bridge Builders is to prevent hatred, promote dialogue and strengthen the cohesion between population groups in Denmark.
We want to inspire, support, encourage and educate citizens to be bridge builders.
We want to help schools put bridge building on the curriculum.
We want to intervene in the debate to ensure a democratic dialogue with room for differences and disagreements.
DialogueCoffee is an initiative created by the former Danish MP Özlem Cekic. She is also the chairman and founder of the Danish NGO the Association of Bridge Builders. The association is a 100% non-profit organisation and not affiliated with any political parties.
